Crisis Stabilization
Help is available for Service Members who are in need of short-term crisis stabilization or are in immediate danger of harming themselves or others. Our team is specialized and trained in stabilization issues relating to depression, anxiety, PTSD, combat stress, mood disorders and problems readjusting to civilian life.
Substance Use/Dual Diagnosis
We provide a Medical Detox Program and an inpatient recovery program for Service Members whose health or daily functioning has been affected by the use of alcohol or other drugs. We use the 12-Step model, and we help our patients find a community-based sober support system after discharge.
Partial Hospitalization
This psychiatric or substance use program may be an option for those stepping down from our inpatient program or those who may benefit from a more intensive program than traditional outpatient care. The Partial Hospitalization Program meets five days a week, Monday through Friday from 0900-1530.
Military Sexual Trauma
This program is intensive and tailored to the needs of Service Members who have experienced sexual trauma. It is a comprehensive, six-week intensive Partial Hospitalization Program specifically designed for military culture that adheres to the SHARP reporting and treatment protocols.

In response to the ever-present and increasing need for high-quality and intensive behavioral health services, Cumberland Hall’s Military Treatment Program was developed through the Patriot Support Program network of treatment centers, support staff and medical professionals dedicated to treating active duty members of the military, veterans and their families. We’re proud of you for taking the steps toward healing, and we thank you for your service.
Our clinical team recognizes that military personnel and veterans may face a variety readjustment issues after serving in active combat situations.These issues can include PTSD, depression, traumatic brain injury, substance abuse, grief, anger and survivor’s guilt. That’s why Cumberland Hall provides specialty services for active duty, retired and dependents of military personnel.
Our staff is experienced with military culture and understands military regulations and structure. We take great care in communicating diagnosis and progress reports made by our clinical staff to the behavioral health or medical case manager at your base or unit.

- Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

- AA and NA on site
- Behavioral health command consultation and involvement
- Individual, group and family therapy
- Transportation assistance for distant bases
- Wellness program directed by a certified recreational specialist with military experience and training
