Adult Inpatient

The Adult Psychiatric Program provides 24-hour observation and coordinated treatment by a physician-led team of mental health professionals. Inpatient hospitalization is short-term and designed to stabilize the patient, allowing for transition to less intensive levels of care.

Assessment & Treatment

Patients will undergo a series of professional assessments to help the treatment team gather the information necessary to develop an individual treatment plan. The plan will indicate the immediate challenges or problems, and offer some solutions, or interventions, to help overcome these challenges. Activities and interventions are scheduled daily according to the needs of the patient, and include:

  • Individual Therapy
  • Group Therapy
  • Family Therapy
  • Recreational Therapy
  • Pet Therapy
  • Educational Groups
  • Medication Management
