Adolescent Extended Treatment

The Change Intervention Program (TCI) is an extended treatment program for 13 to 17 year old adolescents, lasting 30 to 90 days. This Medicaid funded program is for adolescents who have had multiple hospitalizations or are in danger of being removed from their home environment and could benefit from longer term treatment with a slower transition home. Throughout treatment, patients learn coping skills while completing weekly assignments that focus on anger management, depression, setting boundaries, stress, anxiety, self-esteem, and positive leadership. Recreational therapy is also part of treatment.
