What to Bring

There are certain items Cumberland Hall recommends our patients bring upon entering treatment. If any items are unacceptable, our admissions staff will discuss the specific items. Please note that washers and dryers are available on premises.

Things to Bring

  • 3 – 4 days of casual, comfortable clothing
  • Slip on or Velcro athletic shoes. Laces are not allowed.
  • Photos of family (no frames)
  • Cash up to $20 is allowed. Small bills for the vending machines are suggested. (Adults Only)
  • Insurance card if applicable
  • Cigarettes are allowed. Only unopened packs will be permitted. Lighters are provided. (Adults Only)
  • Make up is not allowed for children or adolescents and is limited for adults.
  • Medications: inhalers, birth control pills and antibiotics are allowed inside our facility. We supply all other medication. Please bring a current, accurate list of your medications and dosages.

Things NOT to Bring

  • Clothing with offensive language
  • Electronic devices including cameras, recording devices, cell phones, iPads, iPods and computers
  • Expensive jewelry or valuable items
  • Underwire Bras
  • Drugs and/or alcohol
  • Razors, razor blades
  • Belts, boots, shoelaces or drawstrings
  • Pencils or pens
  • Plastic bags
  • Glass (mirrors, bottles, etc.)
  • Sharp items such as scissors
  • Lighters and matches
  • Pillows, bedding, blankets & stuffed animals
  • Food items, candy or aluminum cans
  • Walking devices such as a cane, walker or crutches
  • Medications with the exception of birth control pills, antibiotics and inhalers
  • Hair dyes or hair chemicals
  • Nail polish and/or remover
  • Personal hygiene items
  • Paracord jewelry
  • More than $20 in cash

Warrior Resiliency Program

The Warrior Resiliency Programs consist of both an inpatient and outpatient partial hospitalization program for Active Duty Military. We offer a stigma-free environment with specially trained staff and treatment interventions needed to help restore our Warriors and their families. If you or a loved one feels these effects—depression, anxiety, problems readjusting to civilian life—we would be honored to help. Our Warrior Resiliency Programs are ready to serve.
