Cumberland Hall Hospital is a TRICARE approved facility and is dedicated to providing a safe, therapeutic treatment environment. Programming is specifically designed to meet the needs of our Active Duty Soldiers and their family members.

Providing the Courage to Heal

Our professionals help individuals and families understand and accept their illness. The treatment team offers the support and motivation needed to enter the recovery process. We help overcome the Stigma attached to those suffering from mental illness and chemical dependency. A sense of hope and confidence is restored in the lives of others through counseling, education and therapeutic groups. Even in the face of life changing events, there can be hope and resiliency.

Active Duty Military

  • Chemical detoxification
  • Substance abuse rehab program utilizing the 12-step model of recovery
  • Crisis stabilization
  • Separate active duty military wing that embraces military structure and protocol
  • Weekly individual therapy, family therapy and command sessions
  • Dedicated staff with military backgrounds
  • Recreational therapy that includes a basketball court, 26 workout stations, and rock climbing wall.
  • Secured smoking area

Outpatient Services – Partial Hospitalization Program for Active Duty Military Psychiatric issues addressed

  • Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) utilized
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) utilized
  • Holistic approach – Mind, Body & Spirit
  • 0900 – 1530 Monday – Friday (military time)

Key Features

Cumberland Hall provides specialty services for active duty, retired and dependents of military personnel. Our clinical team recognizes that military personnel and veterans face multiple readjustment issues after serving in active combat situations. These issues can include PTSD, depression, traumatic brain injury, substance abuse, grief, anger and survivor’s guilt.

Cumberland Hall operates a Warrior Resilience Program. This is a stigma-free private facility with specially trained staff and treatment interventions needed to help restore our warriors and their families. We are specially trained to assist with issues relating to Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, combat stress, mood disorders and problems readjusting to civilian life. We would be honored to help.

Staff

Our military experienced staff comply with the military regulations and structure. Clinical information including diagnosis and progress reports are made by our clinical staff to the identified behavioral health or medical case manager attached to your base or unit.
