TRICARE ReferralsYou've made the decision to seek
help for yourself or Family Member. Cumberland Hall is here to
provide a free behavioral healthcare assessment, 24 hours a day, 7
days a week. While Dependents and Retirees are not required to be
referred from their primary care managers, Active Duty Soldiers
must be referred from an on-base entity. For more information,
review the TRICARE Referrals information below. Referrals for SoldiersSoldiers must be referred by BACH ER (EBH-Emergency Behavioral Health), ASAP (Army Substance Abuse Program), ABH (Adult Behavioral Health), HIP (High Interest Program), or an on-base clinic. Unless suicidal, walk-ins are sent to ABH go through the proper channels and get referred. Same-day appointments are made, unless a later date is preferred. A Cumberland Hall Registered Nurse provides a free-assessment and recommends inpatient or outpatient treatment. If inpatient is recommended, our psychiatrists make the final decision to admit the Soldier.
Referrals for DependentsDependents can be a self-referral. They do not have to be referred by their primary care managers. Same-day appointments are made, unless a later date is preferred. A Cumberland Hall Registered Nurse provides a free-assessment and recommends inpatient or outpatient treatment. If outpatient, multiple options for treatment are provided. If inpatient is recommended, our psychiatrists make the final decision to admit the Dependent. Upon parent’s consent, adolescent Dependents are enrolled in the Cumberland Hall School, which is part of Christian County School District. They receive six hours a day of school instruction. Cumberland Hall School coordinates with the adolescent’s school guidance department to determine class curriculum. Help is Just a Phone Call Away |
