Below is a comprehensive list of what a patient needs to bring or not bring with them to Cumberland Hall.  Should you have any further questions on restricted items, please contact Cumberland Hall's admissions department.


What to bring?


  • 5 to 7 days of casual clothing and sleepwear
  • Personal hygiene items such as toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, shampoo/conditioner, deodorant (non-aerosol), lotion and lip balm
  • Photos of family (no frames)
  • Insurance card if applicable

  • Clothing with offensive language
  • Expensive jewelry or valuable items
  • Razors, razor blades
  • Belts, shoelaces or drawstrings
  • Pencils or pens
  • Plastic bags
  • Glass (mirrors, bottles, etc.)
  • Sharp items such as scissors
  • Cell phones, cameras, MP3 players or any electronic device
  • Lighters and matches
  • Chewing gum
  • Cash over $25
